"Our work at Zeus’ Rescues simply wouldn’t be possible without the ongoing support of NOLA Girl Charitable Giving through the NOLA Dogs Race to the Rescue. For the past seven years, their generous donations have directly saved lives.
Each year, our veterinary expenses alone exceed $250,000. This is by far our largest and most vital cost. Thanks to NOLA Girl Charitable Giving, we’re able to provide top-tier medical care to the animals in our program—many of whom come to us in critical condition.
Their support has funded lifesaving treatments for dogs battling heartworm disease, emergency care for animals suffering from severe burns, and hospitalization for parvovirus—often stepping in when an owner’s only other option would have been euthanasia due to cost.
Because we can rely on these funds for direct medical expenses, we’re also able to pursue grants for capital improvements and transport programs—broadening our impact and allowing us to save even more lives.
